Hey Everyone, I have a Dell Precision 390 I'd like to keep going a little while longer.

It currently has 4 gigs of ram. In an effort to upgrade the graphics card to work with some animation software, I bought a Geforce Gt 710 graphics card.

I tried installing it, and was met with a succession of beeps. Will this card work.

I'm fairly new at computer upgrading, and I'm not a gamer. Any help would be greatly appreciated

It should. Look up the beep code for that machine and see what the error is that the beeps are reporting. That aging workstation should have no problem supporting the GT 710. I have a slightly later Precision T3500 workstation that looks just like yours. It runs with any card I've tried.
