Hi,
This is quite a simple question, but i couldn't find an answer. I have an ac1750 router (whatever that means) (FiOS Quantum Gateway) and I was wondering if i could use the ASUS PCE-AC68, which is ac1900, or would I have to use the ASUS PCE-AC66, which is ac1750. Also, if i could use either, would it be any better to use an ac1900 instead of a ac1750 adapter even though my router is only ac1750?
Thanks, Dylan

You can use either adapter. Your speed is always limited by the slowest device, so the speed for the two adapters will be the same. VERY high transfer speeds will only be possible on 5Ghz WIFI. 5Ghz doesn't spread out as well as 2.4Ghz. So if you are two rooms away from your WIFI source, you won't get super high speed transfers anyway.
