how to find if a case is compatible with motherboard and cooler is also.

as It is my first pc build and i am building a i7 6700k pc with an asus mobo (maybe asus z170) so i want to know that the motherboard casing and cooler i buy should be compatible with each other or any component will work
i know about if mobo is atx then casing should be atx or bigger.My confusion is about the screws to attach mobo to casing and if the shut down and other usb ports on casing connects with all mobos.
my second confusion is about cpu cooler(air cooling).does all coolers support all mobos.

please help me so i can startup building my first pc.any help would be appreciated.

the coolers support certain sockets.
if you buy an i7 6700k, you need a Z170 board. board and cpu use the 1151 socket.
so when buying a cpu cooler, it needs to support the 1151 socket.
furthermore you should check on the shop page of the case how much cooler clearance there is. some cases only support coolers with a height of 135mm.
as for the mainboard, if the case is specified to support the ATX standard, you won't run into troubles with the board and it comes with all the necessary holes and screws and spaces.

so what you are saying is that mobo has all necessary holes needed to mount on casing
my second confusion is still about cooler please suggest a cooler and a case

what's your budget?

any ATX case will support an ATX board
any cooler compatible with the 1151 socket will support your board
not any case will support the cooler height though

very popular is the combination
NZXT S340 / Fractal Design Define S + a Cyroig H7 or H5 as cooler
