Hi,
All the time when I am playing Battlefield 1 or Overwatch, I always get huge FPS drops, going from around 70-85 FPS down to 5-20 FPS for around 10 seconds. Sometimes when the FPS drops, the audio stutters too.
At first I thought the problem may have been my CPU overheating as it kept on reaching 70-80ºC really easily, but I got a new cooler (ARCTIC Freezer 13 CO) the other day and am still getting huge FPS drops.
My specs:
GPU: MSI NVIDIA Gtx 960 Gaming 2 GB
CPU: AMD Series FX-8350 4.0Ghz 8X Black Edition
Motherboard: Asrock 970 Extreme4
PSU: Antec High Current Gamer 620W
RAM: 16GB (4 x 4GB) Corsair Vengeance
My CPU temperature now only reaches around 60ºC and my GPU temperature is around 50ºC.
I have tried updating my graphics drivers, unparking my CPU cores, scanning for any viruses or malicious software, assigning my games the maximum power and uninstalling then reinstalling Windows 10. I don't know what the problem is so I have no clue how to fix it.
Any help is appreciated, thank you.
