AMD FX-8350 max watt consumption

I´ve googled around a lot the last few days about the power consumption. Some articles say that the power comsumption is around 280 watt some say its 220watt.......
Why can´t AMD just give us costumers some numbers. :/
Because the CPU is dynamic. Power consumption fluctuates depending on need. Plenty of good reviews.
