Forget the price you paid and look at it as....I still got great stuff but how can I improve it?

Only the GPU is weak. Get a 1070 or 1080 depending on 1440p or 4k. Everything else is super solid. There is no need for upgrading the other components.

Do you want to sell it off and be done with gaming?
OC and buy a GTX1080.

You will not get as much as you hope for a complete pc.
That is because few will want exactly what you are offering.

You usually fetch more by selling off the parts individually on ebay.

Here, you have some good parts.
Keep what is good, sell off the not so good and do an upgrade.

Yeah I love the Acer Predator but the price is ouch. You could just get 1070 SLI. That's probably what I'd do. It'll beat the Titan X and cost less. Also, you have enough power and a great mobo for SLI.

I was considering this but everybody is bitching about SLI and that less games will support it. I have some savings for new GPU , but now I don't know if I want to wait for new Predator to get 100Mhz native refresh rate and 1080ti or just get Asus which I like better because the design and titan x and just enjoy gaming. However now I am doing Doom and my next game is Raise of Tomb Raider which supports SLI and South park which does not need that much GPU power so I am not in rush. But still even if 1080ti will be released around Christmas or in Q1 2017 I will have to wait at least a month for others to do their versions and another month until it will be available in the stores. I like Titan X but I feel in my gut that its a rip off

Yeah I hear some complaints about SLI but no personal experience. I have always built my system with one GPU in mind and cuz I have to stay within a reasonable budget. The 1080ti will be tempting. Just not sure how long it'll take. I feel like they are taking too long. By the time it is buyable I feel like the next gen is only 6 months away and just as powerful but costs less $.

The Titan X price is ridiculous. That's why I felt 1070 SLI is better deal. I play DOOM on 980ti (almost same as 1070) and I run the game maxed out and get insane fps, like 100 or so at 1440p. You might be better off at a single 1080 for 1440p gaming.

I have some money saved so its not that big deal but I am really wondering in I want Titan X or 1080 sli. I only played 3 games that did not support sli ( The evil within and Wolfenstein series) which did not bother me that much. I don't play games right after they come out because they are so bugged its just waste of time. And 90% of AAA titles support SLI after some time. And I don't want to wait for Ti because I believe it will be available around march in the stores for normal price. I really don't know what to do. 1080 SLI or Titan X
