I was playing on my pc for around 3-4 hours when suddenly when the screen went black, the lights on the graphics card went off and the fans stopped moving. However, the motherboard leds are still on and I think that the hard drive is still running because I can hear it. The computer was making a loud sound, I can say for sure whether it was the fans or optical drive, or perhaps a combination of the two.
I held down the power button to turn it off as obviously the screen was black (power is still going to the screen) when I started up the computer again there was no change.
I don't think that it is a problem with overheating as the computer wasn't hot.
I don't know if this helps but I only recently built this computer.
Would anyone be able to offer me any advice as to what I should do to get my computer back up running. I'd greatly appreciate it!

I7 6700 3.5ghz
Zotac GTX founder edition 1070
Cooler master 212-CPU cooler
850 watt power supply
Gigabyte z170x gaming 3
16gb ram
3fans
Windows 10 Home Pro 64bit
