What hardware should I upgrade to improve my gaming performance?

Currently, i have a pc with these specs:

i5 intel processor @ 3.1 ghz
600 watt power supply
Sapphire radeon 2gb video card
1 tb hard drive
8 gb ram

And I'm not sure what motherboard id this because it's my brother's assembly. I hope someone will answer to my question :) Thanks!

Which i5 is it? There's probably a hundred different i5's in the world.

Which motherboard houses said i5?

Manufacturer and model of the power supply?

Which model Sapphire Radeon 2gb video card? I can think of at least 5 off the top of my head from 3-4 years apart.

How fast does that 1tb hard drive spin? What is its data transfer rate?

What kind of RAM is that? At least we know its quantity is 8GB. Is it DDR2 or DDR3?

What version of Windows are you running? Is it even Windows?

What monitor are you using? What kind of games are you playing? What are you looking for out of the games you're playing (PC performance wise)?

All of this is only the core of the...
