Cpu overclock e5400 c2d lga775

I have a e5400 2.7ghz stock overclocked to 3.57 ghz what can I do to push the even 3.6ghz I tried but the mobo heat sensor safety net just wasn't having it plz help!

That's a pretty high overclock. 43MHz is negligible. Most of the time when you hit your max overclock you'll need to add such a high voltage to keep it stable that it's not even worth it. Have to find a good median between clock speed and voltage but not too high that your temps are through the roof.

Solution
I got an E5700 up to 12x333=4GHz at 1.4875v. This is well above the 1.45v that's considered "safe" but considering they go for only $5 nowadays...

So I think you really need more cooling. When overclocked and overvolted like this these 65w dual-core 45nm chips can go way over 100w so you need cooling sufficient for quads.

The sad thing is even at 4GHz it's only about as fast as a modern 4.5w tablet processor.
