I have had this problem for a couple months now(Early July) and I decided to divert my attentions to schoolwork and I finally had time to look into it
So here is my problem, my PC turns on and off after a few seconds, no beeps,
I can get a long continuous beep only with one stick of ram and then it turns off, I have 3 sticks to try and none of them has worked
I later tried another power supply(brand new) and same results, no beeps
If I don't plug in the CPU power header, the other parts run on and on
I have tried to clear the cmos but the same results
After trying multiple solutions, I couldn't find the answer, so I thought it must've been a motherboard issue
specs if needed:
CPU - i5 6400
Motherboard - GA-h110m-a
GPU - r9 270 powercolor
Ram - 4x2 gb 2133 MHz hyperX and a crucial ballistix 2400 MHz 8 gb
PSU - 500w evga(tried the paper clip test on this one) and a 600w evga(new)
Storage - 2 HDD's 500 gb and a 120 gb ssd
