Hey guys, would like to take off some doubts if there's anyone with more experience.

I have one i5 4670k, running at 4.6Ghz with voltages at: Cpu Input- 1.81v and Core- 1.24v.
Speedstep is on and i'm using Adaptive Voltage, once i don't really need the CPU at full speed all the time.
My cooler are the Corsair H80i and i'm working with some aggressive curve to the fans. (Fans get 75% speed when H80i temp reach 35ºC, -they're pretty loud too- )
Some other details i think is important to know, my room temp are at 27ºc, CPU iddle maintain 34ºc, mobo Asrock Z87 Fatality, PSU EVGA NEX 750G (yes, those FSP crap ones), just changed thermal paste and had sure get the block well installed, the water pump seems to be good.

My issue is:
The CPU gets too hot too fast.
Running Prime 95 Small FFTs the CPU gets at 97ºC 15 seconds after i start the test, i have some feeling about the heat not being transferred to the waterblock.
H80i increase it's temps progressively and the CPU keeps throttling to stabilize internal temperatures.

My question is: What is going wrong ? do i did something wrong ?

(Update: At stock speed (@3.8 ) and same test, CPU gets 85ºC in 10 - 15 secs)

Solution
I mean you can try but be very very careful. If you have a vice then I'd advise you to use that method, otherwise take your time with a razor. It's very easy to scratch the PCB or pop a capacitor next to the die.
How new is the cpu? Because if the thermal paste is fine, the block is clamped down enough, and the pump is working and the cooler has fluid then the only culprit left is the paste between the cpu die and IHS. Also I wouldn't suggest using the newer versions of Prime95, they have a bug where the voltage creeps up as you leave the test going (that's not the issue here though).

Chemmajorp53, thanks for the answer. The Cpu has about 2 - 3 years of intensive use, i've not even remembered the internal paste and i'm using the latest version of prime95 didn't know about this issue (already downloaded an old version, thanks for the tip ), although haven't seen any voltage getting up with the time that i tested (<1Min cuz of the temps and throttling ).

My only way out of this is to delid then?

Will see what to do, i can't replace the Cpu right now if something go wrong and i don't have any other option at this moment.
It's sad what intel did to 4gn chips.

I'm grateful with your assistance. Thanks chemmajorp53, have a nice week :)
