Possible? Yes. PCIe 3.0 cards are backwards compatible which means they will work with PCIe 2.0 and 1.0 slots. Error? Yes. XFX's page says PCI Express 3.0. It simply won't work in a x1 slot and depending upon the manufacturer it may not fit.

Exactly I know I can use a PCIe 2.0 or 1.0 but It can't be for a PCIe x1 that would be ridiculous.
