Hello there, Apparently I had installed Windows 10 in UEFI mode by accident and wanted to switch to Windows 8.1 because I just didn't like Windows 10.
When I uninstalled Windows 10, I realized I made a horrible mistake: the hard drive was the first boot option.
Whenever I booted up, it just looped into a black screen, which I'm guessing is the hard drive since it said "No bootable disk found" whenever I took it out (It's a laptop).
So I tried putting in a windows disk and then putting in the hard drive, but it said it could not detect a hard drive was there even though Linux could (Linux doesn't support my Ethernet port or wireless port).
After all of that, I tried going into the settings, but it just went straight into network boot instead (without the hard drive).
