Hello,

Firstly im in a really tight budget. I have a 300 dollar budget for a intel CPU (preferably the i5 6500) a motherboard (i dont know if there's any lga1151 motherboard that actually supports ddr3 ram, if there are any should i?) and ram if we cant find any good motherboard capable of running ddr3 ram (8gb of ram btw).

For the motherboard, I would like a ATX because my case already has the stand offs pre installed for any ATX motherboard. I am not sure how to change the stand offs, or if i even have to change it. If Somebody could help me figuring that out, i would greatly appreciate it as well.

300 budget for a GOOD CPU (no need to get one that can be overclocked because i don't mess with that shizz) motherboard and ram. Budget of 300 dollars. Thank you.

Solution
$125 will buy you a I3-6100.
You can use any lga1151 motherboard; you can get one with a H110 chipset for as little as $50.
Your ddr3 ram will not work unless it is 1.35 low voltage.
Better to plan on a motherboard with ddr4. 8gb of ddr4 will be about $45.
Do not worry if the cheapest motherboard is M-ATX, the hole patterns are exactly the same as ATX.
I3-6100 is comparable in performance to the i5-6500, but cheaper.
Here is a review which includes comparisons to I5-6600:

Ok i think i found the perfect solution. I found this motherboard which has 3 things that i like. Cheap, looks excellent, and has red led (i for some reason find red led surprising). In total with the i5 6500, a 8 gb of ram from hyperx (2 sticks of 4gb) and the motherboard which is a MSI Gaming h110, 298 dollars. Would you recommend using the h110? Thank you

p.s. Also i fear about using i3, its not in my comfort zone.

I'm looking to pair the CPU with a EVGA 1060. I am looking to play games like: The withcer 3 wild hunt, Grand theft auto 5, fallout 4, skyrim special edition, battlefield 1, arma 3, and some heavily modded minecraft (yeah i know xD). All of them at 1080p. I am going to use my pc for gaming, school work, and some other stuff. No rendering, no animation, only gaming at high fps at high settings. (i am a graphic junkie and performance junkie)
