So there's some backstory to this first. My PC has recently encountered the error "storage.dll is missing from your computer", and after some searching and attempting to fix it, I realised that I had a spare 1tb hard drive lying around, so I might as well just use that (I have a 500gb hard drive at the moment). I used the hard drive to store my Mac OS from a while ago. I'm not great with computers or anything so I was just wondering how I would wipe the Mac OS from the hard drive, and then put on any version of Windows (I have a legit copy on my PC at the moment, but it came installed so I don't know the code or have a hard copy). So to summarise I would like to:
•find how to wipe a hard drive's OS with
•find my Windows code or whatever info I would need to transfer the copy of Windows I have over (but not exactly the same data as the dll.storage file is corrupted)
•find how to put Windows onto my new hard drive (I should be able to download everything else I have from there. Thanks to any responses!

Solution
You could make G-parted live USB and clean disk up so windows setup would recognize it properly. That HDD will have to be connected to computer of course. As those windows are probably OEM, reg code is in the BIOS and windows should be able to recognize it.
You could also clone your HDD to new one if it's in good enough shape.

I have been reading up and I can do it from the step where I have the copy of Windows on a USB, but because I am having the storage.dll error I cannot access any applications I download on that PC, only Windows options and files (and IE for some reason). How would you get the Windows onto the USB?
