If you have a similar setup, can you tell me what FPS you're getting at these games without overclocking anything? with AA or MSAA
-GTA V (Very high, 1080p)
-Battlefield 1 (Ultra, 1080p)
-CS:GO (Very high, 1080p)
-Overwatch (Epic, 1080p)
-Minecraft (32 Render distance, fancy 1080p)
-Infinite Warfare/ Black Ops 3 (Very high, 1080p)
-Witcher 3 (Ultra, 1080p)

Also, if you guys have any suggestions for a much better parts with the same price, feel free to tell me. Thanks! :D

Solution
In an ideal case scenario, the RX470 should be better than the 1050ti. In the real world, AMD Powertune cripples any performance benefits the RX470 might have had. Every time I browse the forums here, I see people regretting their purchase of R9-series and RX-series AMD graphics cards, citing worse framerates than the older AMD cards they upgraded from. The 1050ti is also, reportedly, a great overclocker. I have an R9 380x, and have experienced this downclocking disaster first hand. The workarounds are but workarounds. There is no solution besides AMD outright removing their power savings features, which have gone from being toggle-able features to being permanent fixtures. They cannot be disabled without manually removing objects off...

Do you personally own a system like this?

With an i3-6100 and an RX 470, your framerates are not going to be very high at remotely high settings. This guy's numbers sound about right, although the source is in question.

I'd imagine that in CS:GO, Overwatch, LOL/DOTA2, Minecraft, and other less demanding titles, you'll easily be over 60 fps, but games like the BF1 and GTA5 are going to suffer pretty heavily from the lack of CPU cores. BF1 in particular lists a very recent quad-core intel as the bare minimum to run the game, and for good reason.

At 1080p, for playable framerates, with that particular combination of hardware, I wouldn't put settings at more than medium to high, especially CPU-heavy settings like shadows, particles and effects, foliage, render distance, for GTA5 population density, etc. Even Overwatch may not be very playable on epic settings, unless you can handle twitch shooting at 30-40fps.

Why not a 1050ti? It's way better than an RX470 for the same price or less. In fact, you may be able to get an i3-6300 and a 1050ti for the same cost, which is way better than an i3-6100 and an rx470. Give it a thought.

I thought the rx 470 is better than the 1050 ti, because every comparison video on the inter shows much more fps than the 1050. Are you sure about that?

This is why I cite the 1050ti as being better. Not by raw stats or projected performance or benchmarks, but by what actually happens when people try to use them without modifying the PCB and bios.

But what I first asked is what FPS you get from the i3-6100 and RX 470 WITHOUT OC or anything. So that shouldn't be a problem. :)
