I installed Windows 7 on a system I got for free from a friend. It's an HP Pavilion P6733w, It has an AMD Phenom II x2 511 CPU, I installed 4 more GB of ram, making it have 8 GB of ram and I installed a GeForce GT 630. I cannot get the network drivers from the website to install, It constantly gives me an error saying my system doesn't meet the minimum requirements for the drivers. I've tried 64-bit and 32-bit versions of the drivers. I installed Ubuntu 16.04, and the network card worked fine, so I'm pretty sure the card is working fine.

Any ideas on how to fix this? It's really frustrating, and I'll answer any questions needed about the PC.
Thanks for any feedback!

I suggest you check what version of windows is installed on your system.
Check to see if it is a 32 bit version of windows you have installed.

Or the 64 bit version of windows 7.

The reason for the error is most likely to do with the fact Tokage that you are running a 64 bit version of windows 7.
And HP on there support and download website for drivers only have a 32 bit version of the driver for download.

I can tell you HP often do this because the vast majority of pre built systems shipped with only a 32 bit version of windows 7 installed on them.

And given the system only has 4Gb of memory fitted is a good pointer to a 32bit version of windows 7 origonally installed.

Tokage.

So you need to find a 64 bit version of the Network drivers.

To help you out bellow is a link to the Network adapter from the company that makes the Networking chip on the motherboard you have.
It is 32 bit and a 64 bit. driver for the network adapter.

Download it use winzip to unpack the archive to the same named windows folder, and destination on your HDD.
And install the driver package ok.

Click on the link bellow.

Hp's drivers have a 64-bit option, and the drivers have different file names, I have no way of figuring out if the drivers are actually different, would they be?

I also can't find the manufacturer or the product number for the motherboard to find the drivers straight from the manufacturer

Ran CPU-Z, found the model number and ID, working on getting drivers

None of Foxconn's drivers work, the closest motherboard I Can find is the Foxconn Cinema II deluxe Should I try installing a 32 bit version of windows?
