I've looked for everything to solve this. Here is the problem:
I bought a new Nvidia GTX 980. I removed my old MSI R9 280x. The new GTX was working fine, but I wanted to get the appropriate drivers/software. I uninstalled my old AMD drivers. It wouldn't let me install my new GTX 980 drivers because I needed to restart. I restarted and I now have a black screen. Nothing will show period. I then removed the old card and switched to the motherboard. Now, I try to install the drivers but the first step is "System Compatibility" and it says it cannot see a GPU, so it will not install. If I plug back in the GPU, my motherboard defaults to it and it black screens.
How can I get the drivers all on and get my GPU up and working?
