We have 2 computers in our house connected to the same wireless network--my personal desktop PC and a shared desktop. Anytime I try and download a game from Steam the other computer loses internet--it will still be connected to the network but it's unable to load or connect to anything but my computer will be totally fine. Just today I've discovered this problem has spread to Netflix as well. I've tried limiting the data usage on both Netflix and Steam through the user settings but that doesn't work. YouTube seems to be the only thing I can watch that doesn't effect the other computer at all.
