Gtx 960 vs 970 is it worth extra $$$?

I will be editing on Adobe premiere pro, and sometimes a little after effects. I have 32gb ram and i7 5820k. I will be editing in gopro and lumix g7 4k, and sometimes 1080p. As long as I can get smooth playback in premiere pro at 1/2 res, I'm happy. Would the gtx 960 suit my needs? Or would the gtx 970 be worth the extra money? I care more about playback in premiere than render times.

For Adobe, the 960 is a great card and I think you'd get the results you want with either. What are the prices? The 970 is worth the extra money if it's only 20-30% more.

It would be $1100 dollars with 970

Jesus Christ those prices haha, hope you're not in the US or Canada. I personally think the 970 is worth it for the extra bump in performance. On the off case that you're buying these new, how much does a GTX 1060 3gb cost?
