I have just installed an intel core i5-3475s into my lenovo desktop computer. It is a k330b motherboard with an LGA1155 socket. Followed all steps to the best of my ability but when i power it up i get no display on my monitor. The tower turns on and the fans run normally only thing is i dont get a display on screen. I have tried to change bios setting to allow upgrades but i cant seem to get anywhere. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Can a cpu be too much for the motherboard even if it fits the socket type on the mobo?

You may have been on an old sanybridge CPU and upgraded to ivybridge CPU which requires a CPU update assuming your motherboard supports it. I would look up the model number of your computer and see their CPU support list by the bios date.
Did you upgrade the CPU? Assuming you have the Lenovo Desktop PC IdeaCentre K330B it comes with a Core i5 2310. Looking on their website it's saying "Bios update is not required for this product" meaning you'll be stuck with using sandybridge CPU's.
