I'm currently building my first gaming computer, and I'm looking for good PSU. I want one that'll last long and has a 80 PLUS SILVER+ rating for efficiency. I'm running a GTX 1070, and a 4GHz Intel i7 6700K. I'm also not looking for a PSU $150+.

My recommended PSUs: Compare Cooler Master V750, Corsair RM650x, EVGA SuperNOVA G2 650W.

They are all great quality and will last you a long time.

Reasons to consider the Cooler Master unit: It's really quiet even under prolonged usage at load. It also offers more wattage for the price.

Reasons to consider the Corsair unit: It comes with a ten year warranty.

Reasons to consider the EVGA unit: It has more ratings and customers are satisfied with it.

Thank you. I'm probably going to get the EVGA as it seems the most attractive due to ratings even though the Corsair is $10 cheaper, but before I end the thread, I assume the EVGA isn't loud. Right?

It's very quiet at loads up to about 500W, then the fan starts to kick up. But even then, it's much quieter than a graphics card or CPU stock cooler while at load.
