I want to know what you guys think is the best gaming laptop or notebook for reasonable price. I'm looking to spend no more than 1200 dollars. I already have a gaming PC, but I need a laptop or notebook for school work and gaming on long trips or when I'm at school or when I'm at a friend's house. I would prefer a gaming notebook because of how light and compact they are, but you guys are the experts, just let me know what you guys think I should get.

Solution
~$1250
ASUS FX502VM-AH51 15.6-inch Full-HD Laptop, Core i5, GTX 1060 3GB, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB HDD with Windows 10

~$1200
MSI GE62VR Apache Pro VR Ready Laptop (i7-6700HQ, 12GB RAM, 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD, NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 6GB, 15.6" Full HD, Windows 10) - 2016 HTC Vive Compatible Gaming Notebook Computer

The MSI looks like a better deal (also has the SSD that the Asus doesn't), but the ASUS might be a bit better manufacturing. Also I would opt for the GTX 1060 with 6 gb's of RAM over the 3 gb one, if it were up to me. Asus has another laptop with the 6 gb's of RAM for ~$1300, which is over your budget.
