CPU Temp problems. help me pls

during gaming at 4k the temps for my watercooled i7 6700k goes above 90 degrees celsius. during browsing at 40-50 degrees with random spikes to 70.
idk what is goin on pls help
cooler is corsair h110i GTX i did not plug the usb header link thing. the one for the rgb lights

The USB cable isn't just for RGB LED lights, it's mainly for controlling the water pump and fans speed using Corsair Link program.

My guess would be that without USB control cable, your MoBo doesn't run the pump fast enough and that's why you get overheating issues.

Connect the USB cable, download Corsair Link program and tune your H100i GTX to run right.

Explains alot but the box of h110i GTX doesnt have the usb cable.
