I have been in the process of looking for the new pieces of a PC to run AAA games. So far I have decided on Intel I5 6500, MSI 1060, NZXT Phantom Full Tower, Rosewill Hive 650 W, 16 gb Corsair Vengance Ram, I would like a recommendation for a motherboard. Any opinions on certain parts instead of others and just general opinions of the build are much appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Absolutely not. That GPU and CPU will hit their highest potential together and not let the other down. You'll max out 1080p and can play some 1440p at 60fps too. Go for it.

@envy14tpe I think the full tower was a decision just for me because I like the size. I was also considering a I7 6700K and Corsair H100I. Would you recommend any changes in the build if I was to go with that?

Going from locked i5 to unlocked i7 costs a lot and doesn't gain anything in gaming. If you get a 6700k then you need a Z170 mobo. I still suggest mid tower over full tower. Even micro builds are ok nowadays.

Alright in that case what is the benefit of getting an I7

Alright. But if I was to get the I5 6500 it wouldn't bottleneck with the GTX 1060 6gb would it?
