Convert Portable into external device

I am using gionee p5 mini. Whenever I was connecting it to my PC it shows as portable device, so I am not able to scan it with antivirus and also not able to recover data from internal storage from recuva. Is there any way by which i can be show as external device in my PC

Hey there, Prabhat Udiya.

You should check your USB connection types. Try setting it as a mass storage device, or give it a go with the other options, to see if it can be detected as a regular mass storage device. Chances are slim, but it's worth the try. As for data recovery and antivirus programs, there are some tools specifically targeted for phones, so I'd suggest you check for some of those solutions.
