Hi im looking to upgrade my graphics card from a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 to a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, my CPU Processor is a AMD FX(tm)-4300 Quad-Core Processor - 3.80GHz, and motherboard product code is is: GA-78LMT-USB3. A few questions:
Will it bottleneck?(im pretty sure it will) Will I need to change my CPU and motherboard?(If so then please leave recommendations) Are there any better Graphics cards I should get within the same price range (£200-250)? The computer will be mostly for gaming, thanks :D

The 760 is about equivalent to a GTX 950/GTX 1050 these days. You have correctly identified the 1060 as the next step up, from Nvidia at least. The RX 470 or 480 would be your options on the AMD side. A 1050 Ti would be an upgrade, but an incremental upgrade. Not up to the next level, but better than what you have. Personally I don't think it's worth it, bypass the 1050 Ti and get a 1060.

As to bottlenecking, sure you won't get as high a framerate as people with a faster CPU, but does that matter? As long as you can get the framerate you are looking for, isn't THAT what matters? So look for benchmarks on the games you play with an FX 4xxx CPU combined with a 1060, maybe on Youtube. Are the games running well enough to satisfy you? If...

Hi sir
First Question About Bottlenecking : it will bottleneck for sure as u knew
Second U should buy a new mobo and cpu if u have money on budget... also I suggest u to go for intel.processors in lga1151 sockets like i7 6700k or a cheaper.good.processor i5 6600k
And about ur gpu for qhd resolution if u afford a good cpu u will not face any problems in high settings ! For example u can easily play bf1 on qhd high settings 1440p with 45_55 fps or maybe more
Also I suggest u to afford solid disk drive (ssd) too for ur new mobo if u can afford... it has a very effect on speed on ur pc and also in gaming
And another things which I recommend u is to buy a Ram which in overall is 16gb at least. Which have no stress about playing games... Also Take A look on its frequencies too. As it higher... better...
Contact us if u managed to afford a new mobo in another question or here and we will give more.advices..
Best regards khd
