Ok! I have an HP Compaq DC7600 Convertible MiniTower right. I have installed an Intel pentium 4 630 single core with HT. 40 Gb hard drive! Original. 2 256Mb sticks in total 512Mb. My question is witch Cpu is best for this pc. Idk if a duel core would work, or not so I need help with this. The motherboard code is "PU699AV" and I don't worry about Hardrive and ram. I'll get that 1UP soon. I would surely appreciate the help! :D

If you only have 512 mb of RAM, and are looking for a new CPU and other upgrades, just buy a used working Core 2 Duo or quad system for about $80-$100 and call it a day. They would come with 4 gb of RAM usually as well as a much newer hard drive.
