Have just built a new system Using gigabyte ga-z170x-gaming 7 upon first start up it turns on and off and shows no error codes - totally blank as if the display does not work. Called reseller who said that the ram was installed incorrectly, but it is not. Checked other posts that suggest to remove one ram stick and put only one in...tried this in slot 4 and one as suggested - no dice. Had the Power sw, +pled, -pled, and HDDLED all plugged into the F panel but wont turn on using the external switch...so unplugged them and used the internal motherboard power button and just loops.

1: Any suggestions what to try next? Using a liquid cooling fan so cannot check speed of fan, PSU is running - fan spinning etc...

2: Please confirm the correct slots in the FPanel for the above plugs as this is the only thing we cannot find in the manual and are not 100% sure of.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ok found it in the manual but unsure if I have the correct cord...CPU into CPU1 on powersupply? But where does the double end of four plug into on the f panel please?

They connect to the black 8 pin connector near the CPU (top of the board).

So now have the pc up and running, OS installed etc. BUT it will only post with 8gb ram not the 16gb we intended...get error code 55. No conclusive answers on groups I have researched...any idea's out there? Was going to try bios update but there is only one newer version that what we have and not sure if it is suitable for our board, so don't want to take a chance...
