Currently, I'm shopping for a new PC that'll last me a long time. I'm not trying to pay too much, around 1000$ is my price point. I've created a list of components and was curious if they are a good match for my needs. (Yes, sadly. I will be using WiFi compared to LAN due to my "house setup")

No it is not a very good build mainly due to the FX8350 being old and weak compared to current Intel offerings. You also say you want to spend around $1000 but your build comes in at almost $1200. I managed to make it quite a bit cheaper while also making it much better.

I appreciate you taking your time out of your day to assist me with this build. I recalled reading that the FX-8350 was a good processor, but I guess AMD (until their zen line is released) really can't compete with intel. Sure, AMD may be good for more "budget builds" but with me using an AMD 480. I suspect you selected a Skylake Intel processor because it wouldn't bottleneck.

One point I'd like to make, I noticed their was no cpu cooler. Is this based on my personal preference?
