Hello,

System specs: amd-8350, gtx-1070, mobo: M5A97R2.0, 16gb 1600MHz ddr3 ram.

I am having an issue with my RAM speed. I recently upgraded from 2 x 4gb sticks to 2 x 8gb ddr3 1600MHz. However i'm having an issue getting the RAM to use it's full potential.

In my bios I can either set it to 1439MHz, which is too low - or - 1728MHz, which is too high. There seems to be no 1600MHz selection as all of the to options are pre-determined. I have read the box on my motherboard and it says it accepts this speed. I have also checked CPU-Z and it indeed running at around 1440Mhz. I will attach a picture.

Any ideas on how I can get my RAM at 1600MHz? Does using the "auto" setting do this? This is my first time upgrading RAM so i'm not sure of what to do here?

Thank you kindly
