Is the Samsung 850 EVO 250gb SSD worth it

Hey guys I was recently looking for a SSD and a friend recommended me the Samsung 850 EVO 250gb. Is this SSD good and worth it, or is there any better ones for around about the same price. (It's about $140 AUD) Thank you I would really appreciate a reply :)

I have an m.2 500 gb evo and another 250 gb evo and they work great. I would highly recommend them. That being said I wouldn't hesitate to buy the Crucial mx300 series either because I hear they are pretty good for the price. I'm saving up to build a second pc to use as a backup and that's what I'm going to use.
