Please get an Nvidia card, CUDA acceleration will help greatly when editing and rendering.
Also, please list all of the components you are looking at getting. I just want to make sure you're getting something that's not going to crap out on you in the near future.

Hey if it's working the way you want it to, then I'm not going to stand here and tell you to go spend more money to replace a graphics card. I didn't know you had already bought the parts and set them up.
Other than having to use AMD acceleration for video editing and rendering (not all editing programs support AMD acceleration), I think the i7 6700K is great for building an editing rig when on a budget under $2,500.
