A few minor changes, better CPU cooler, better power supply. The rest is adequate for your goals.

NEX line is known to use relatively cheap capacitors for such a nice power supply. The G2 line is superior for only a slight cost increase.

The CPU cooler was very small for an i7, the K does not come with a cooler because they expect enthusiasts to buy one anyway. Fairly slim pickings with reasonable prices, that that Thermaltake should do okay. (if you don't like the red fan, the Frio is 5 CAD more for a black one)

So all you changed to make it better was PSU and CPU COOLER?

Yeah just mid VIDEO editing. Not a crazy amount!

Yep.

As for the rest of it. Average SSD, average HDD, Motherboard is adequate. GTX1060 will get you solid 1920x1080 performance in pretty much every game. i7-6700k is about the best gaming processor you can get, and is good for video editing with its 4 cores + HT.

Might shop around for some less flashy memory myself, but the NiC line from Thermaltake doesn't cover any ram slots, so the height shouldn't matter.

Cases are a personal preference, and while you have gone with a relatively cheap case, if it suits your needs it will be fine.

If you want to spend more, there are certainly better components out there.
