Fx 8350 overclocking problem on MSI 970 Gaming motherboard

So every time i try to overclock "Amd overdrive" my screen flashes black and my windows that I drag around leave trails, almost like the video card drivers reset or something. Anway I have a 725w power supply (I dont need an input if its bad or not) I also have Hyper Evo 212 cooler.

You are very limited in your ability to Overclock with this MB. The Bios also has limited capability.
Any higher than stock frequency or more than 1.45V on the core and the MB VRMS will overheat. Do not OC from within windows. Use the Bios.

Enter Bios>Adjust CPU Ratio to 22 for a 4.4GHz OC.
Cpu core voltage to 1.4V
Turn OFF Turbo Core Technology.
Enable XMP if your DIMMs support that.
Disable Cool and Quiet.
C1E Support disable.
Leave the rest and...
