I know this may seem typical, but bear with me.

Some Basic Specs:
Processor: Intel i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40 GHz
Graphics card: Nvidia GTX 760

I built this computer a little over a year ago and kind of gave up on it until recently. It crashes even when running something like CSGO and cannot handle any tasks beyond Google Chrome. None of my cores are parked. I was told that it was my Hard Drive so I bought a small SSD just to see if the problem cleared up. I was able to game freely for a couple of months before the issue arose once again. About 30 seconds into game play, the screen goes dark and the speakers make a "thud" sound that I assume comes from the power cut.

If anyone has any leads, it would be very much appreciated. Also, if more information is needed I will try and supply all that I can. Thanks everyone.

Edit: I failed to include that I have tried completely wiping my drive and then reinstalling everything, and it did fix the issue
