My new 3.5mm (M to M) cable won't quite click in my headphones, but my old ones do, they're both TRS cables, and both look almost exactly the same, any tips on how to get the new ones to work?
Does the wire seem to not click in place because it doesn't go inside deep enough? If yes...you can always trim a millimeter or so of the grip on the connector side, with a scalpel/knife, so that it goes in correctly.
Not ideal, but it's better than not using the cable?

Thanks for the reply!
I'll try that, it doesn't seem to go in quite as far, just enough for it not to make a connection.
