I'm thinking about upgrading some components on my gaming PC. I mainly play games such as Titanfall, Battlefield 1, Division, Fallout, Witcher 3, Dota 2, World of Warcraft, NBA2k, and FPS games. I don't do any overclocking or anything. I don't really have a budget for this but i'm not looking to spend an amount equivalent to another build lol.

Here is my current build:

Here are some of the parts i'm contemplating upgrading to. I'm not planning on purchasing all of it. Maybe 2 or three of those parts so i'm just looking for input on what would be priority

Also, is it worth upgrading my monitors? Am i missing out on anything by using the ones i have now?

Solution
Those parts will work fine together, but you can get a 525gb Crucial MX300, for less. If just straight up gaming, you really do not need the 1231v3. I know you said you do not overclock, but the 3570k will do 4.0ghz, with just a multiplier bump to 40, in the bios. I used to run a 3570k, myself. I am only using a 6700k, now, because I wanted it for non gaming reasons, and got a killer deal on my motherboard.

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($74.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Crucial MX300 525GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($104.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 8GB AMP! Edition Video Card...
'' I don't do any overclocking or anything'' why a k cpu?

'' Corsair H100i GTX 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler'' no need of watercooling here since is messy and more expensive and you do not overclock

'' G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)'' get 16 gb instead above all with BF1 game

'' Corsair Carbide Clear 600C'' NICE ONE!

'' EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W'' this is a crap psu ..get evga g2-b2-gq series instead

I'd get the Xeon E3 1231-V3 over an i7 if you're not overclocking. That xeon in particular is an i7 4790 (or was it i7 4770 or something) non K-sku, without the integrated graphics for at least $100 less. You can take that saved money and get more RAM and a better power supply and still save money!

If you don't like constantly monitoring CPU temps while in game, and want it to be reliable for the long term, water cooling is not the way to go. Hyper212 variants, Cryorig H5/H7, Enermax Twisters, Noctua air coolers, Bequiet air coolers, etc. will all give perfectly adequate, if not overkill cooling for that CPU, especially if overclocking is out of the question. Now you can save even more money. ;)

I don't know what kind of games you're playing but the G502, in my humble opinion, it is far too heavy for most of today's twitch-aim first person shooters, and then doesn't have enough buttons for fantasy MMO's like TERA and BnS. The sensor, however, is the best I've ever used, bar none. I have one, I tried to like it, and eventually got lighter and lighter mice until I ended up with a Zowie EC1-A and a Razer Deathadder Chroma, which has been my daily driver for a half a year now. Check out the Rocket Jump Ninja on youtube for far more indepth mouse reviews if you're interested.

I've never heard of the Xeon CPUs. Would that be compatible with my current build?

you already have a great PC. +1 on keeping your current CPU/Mobo.

I would recommend getting better monitors, though. you are planning on getting high-end parts that you won't use to the fullest only for gaming and totally dismiss the monitors. I would rather have a great visual experience when playing!

- get the RAM upgrade to 16GB
- get the Crucial MX300 SSD
- 100% get the corsair 600C!!
- get a GTX1070 and better monitors or at least just one 27'' 1440p IPS monitors and welcome to 2016! (we are almost in 2017 ffs)
