My motherboard is a Dell 0NW73C.

I spoke with Dell support and I was told that a PNY GeForce GTX 1070 - Founders Edition
is compatible with it.

I am shopping around for this card and seeing many various brands of the same card, like MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte, etc.

I have to ask the rookie question: If one brand of a specific card is said to be compatible with a motherboard, does that mean all brands of that same card will also be compatible?

Or do I need to be on the look-out for other technical aspects of the card that may make it incompatible with the mainboard?

Sir In Order To Buy A Graphic We Use Compatible Words More For Fitting Cpu/MoboType/Gpu With Each Other
It Has A Simple Answer .
In Normal Mode IT Should Be It . The Other Brands Should Works Fine Unless Ur Mobo Couldnt Work Well With This Gpu
But Some Gamers Suggest Which Buy The Gpu And The Mobo From One Brand To Get More Performance Which I Have No Idea About It . If U Are Agree About It U should Buy A Dell Gpu . But Since I Didnt Heared Anything About Dell Gpus (Maybe It HAs Not Gpu ) Other Brands Should Works Good
The Main Worry Should Be Cpu . Other Members Which Wanna Get Gpu Worrying About Their Cpu Which Bottleneck The Gpu
So If U can Tell Me Ur Cpu Type I Will Tell U More About Ur Gpu Compatibility . But For Brands Should Be...

If it's a PCI Express card, it'll work on any motherboard with a PCI Express slot. Brands are just brands. I have an MSI video card on my Gigabyte motherboard. One thing you should keep an eye out for is whether or not the card requires 6 or 8 pin connectors. Most stock power supplies(in my experience) do not have them. If the card requires these power connections, you'll need a power supply that has them.

Also About Mobo We Got Another Factor Called Pci Express If Ur Mobo Doesnt Supoort The Pci Express Gen 3 And Supports Gen 2 Of That U Also good With that Just A Few Percent (4-7 %) Lower Performance
Best Regards
