Okay , im not expert at this whole thing , but yesterday i surfed the web in order to download a game , i dont usually download much but i made an exception i went on piratesbay and alongside it i downloaded utorrent, now i was on the website and my installation had completed when suddenly i was disconnected form my internet (i use wifi) its wasnt giving me access for quite some while , i closed my browser (firefox) and well i uninstalled utorrent , however , nothing happened until i turned off my laptop's wifi. after doing that my internet's third led turned on and i was able to use my internet after turning on laptop's wifi. However the problem is my speed is 12-40 KB\s instead of the standard which is around 450 KB\s to 600 KB\s , its not only on the laptop but also my mobile.
I HAVE :
> tried malware bytes, superantispyware and windows defender to check for anomalies
> rebooted my wireless modem
> reset my wireless modem to factory settings and reconfigured from my provider
> tried online test which gives me around 4 mbps
Now i dont know if utorrent changes settings of the computer or was it actually piratesbay but i think the reason is one of the two , please help me out i need my connection BADLY! Thanks in advance <3
