Which pc case should i get

Hey guys i truly sorry becouse i know my quistion have been ask soo many times but i want to solve the problem here soo here is my quistion
When should i take the full case size. Which parts need to full case which is not. and is their any mother board is not fit well in mid cases and of course which video cards is not fit well in mid cases
My mother board is asus z170 maximus viii hero alpha
Video card is asus rog strix 1070 or 1080. i wasn't dicide yet

The site proposed by the nzxt blog Author http://pcpartpicker.com/ basically trace the parts you select and only let you see compatible ones.

If you want me to tell you the case you should get, i can simply say "take that one, will be good", but for what i see you want to learn how to select a good one, which is awesome.
