I need help with Far Cry Gold Pack

I've been looking to buy a new game for a long time! I saw Far Cry Gold Pack for 45€. At first I thought I'd buy the pack in a few days, but then I saw Summary tab. It said "this content will be sent to you starting December 14th", but on the same page it says that it'll automatically be available in my library! Could you please clarify this for me?

Hello!

Judging from what the website says, each of the games contained with the gold pack are given to you via a code that can be redeemed most likely on Uplay, so as long as you have a Uplay account, there will be an option somewhere to download your games or put in a key, most likely though you should just be able to download all of the games with a Uplay account, it would be a good idea to install the Uplay client from here: https://uplay.ubi.com/ and then make an account, then buy the games

I guess that what you get when you have to deal with mandatory 3ed party malware clients like uplay or steam and not just get the full game on retail disk as it use to be ??

I guess this is part of what you get when dealing with rental games and full 3ed party involvement

back in the real pc game days you bought a retail disk stuck in in your computer installed it and played it no internet required no mandatory 3ed party client malware no nothing just you your computer and the game fully on the disk in private , [suckers]

I only use Steam, anything outside of Steam I turn my nose up at, one client running on startup is enough but Uplay and Origin? No thanks, that will just clog up my PC with "update this" and "Logging into this" and I don't want that at all, I bought fallout 4 and.....Grand Theft Auto V on PC with a disk (or I should say 12 for GTA V)

Simple and easy with only one client but lots of others just makes things annoying.

^ those posts are years old .
There are no issues with the ubi client nowadays.

I do agree its another program you have to have though which is kind of unnecessary.
I have no problem at all with steam , but when you have to have steam, origin, rockstar & ubisoft clients all installed it gets to be a real ballache

madmatt30 I know that the promo ends then but there is one disclaimer that says the content will be sent starting December 14th near the bottom of Summary tab

December the 14th is the cut off date, so if you don't buy the games before the 14th of December, you won't be able to get them.

Yeah, I've already downloaded it and so far it is cool, though the lack of vibrant colors makes it look less interesting than other Far Cry games. So far the game nice and I can't wait to see what Far Cry 4 and Primal have to offer!

its a lot of money just for those 2 games.

Not sure how fc 1 & 2 have fared now ,havent played them in a long time.

FC3 still very impressive,personally wasnt a big fan of 4 - it is a bit 'too' open world for me personally.
Primal ?? Absolutely mint mate,totally different experience.
Beautiful looking games though 3 onwards ,still very impressive looking now.

Blood dragon is absolutely crackers mate ,I think its meant to be though,supposed to have a retro look

I picked up FarCry 3 Blood Dragon free on Xbox One through Games With Gold (didn't want to download another client on my PC) and with the humor in the loading screens alone like: "Sniper rifles....close-range weapons for when you accidentally select the wrong gun" I instantly loved the game, great fun to play too
