I need help,
Im running into a problem in which when I go to boot my computer the screen says Preparing Auto Repair then it turns off and attempts to boot up again only to have it say Preparing Auto Repair again then, Repeats over and over again. I already switched the seating in the of the RAM and tried reinstalling my OS but it keeps shutting off.

I have:
asus motherboard Hero Alpha 3
Windows 10
Samsung SSD
Another Hard drive with nothing on it

Thanks, Jake

Welcome to Tom's Hardware, @jcbaker42!

This sounds pretty unfortunate! You mentioned that you already tried switching the placement of the RAM, but I'd also recommend you power down the system and reseat all the connections inside it. This will help you make sure that there are no loose cables and everything is properly connected. Another thing you should try after that is running the Start Up Repair Options from the Windows 10 installation media disk/usb.

I hope it helps you. Let me know how it goes! :)
