Okay so im going to be upgrading my 970 chipset motherboard to a lga 1151 (msi 970 gaming to a MSI z170a) in doing this I am also swapping my CPU from an AMD to an Intel, My SSD holds my OS and minor things like google but my hardrive is my gaming drive with all my data on it.
Given this scenario would I have to wipe my SSD or my hardrive? or both? I am using windows 10
and I would really like to not lose all my hundreds of mods and save data from bethesda games, and also not like to have to download a hundred or so games because of this. Thanks

No the 'old windows' folder is not a complete format but just a reinstall and i dont really know if it works on swappign parts method....and for backup you just need to do it by hand.

About 150 gigs left not even half full (literally just windows and drivers no games or anything) what about my main hard disk?
