Can UNDERCLOCKING Damage Hardware?

Hello,
Obviously overclocking can have some implications if you don't do it right, but does underclocking have the potential to damage the CPU and GPU? Do I need to lower the voltages to underclock? I am working on a project for which I need to make a video on overclocking, but my motherboard and CPU do not support overclocking, so I will be starting with my CPU underclocked and then returning it to stock frequency. I will not have my hardware underclocked for too long; just long enough to do a benchmark or two, but I was wondering if I would encounter any potentially damaging side effects.

I am just underclocking, because as I said, my CPU and mobo do not support overclocking, and I am just making a video for a project demonstrating how to over/underclock.

Most setups that don't allow overclocking also won't allow underclocking because that part of the BIOS is either missing or disabled to prevent overclocking in the first place.

MB and CPU?

Oh and you're not likely to damage anything by underclocking or undervolting but you could easily cause crashes and instability.
