So im a long time lurker of this fantastic website. Iv had a few problems in the past that the threads here have definitely helped.

My reason for writing a post here is that i havent been able to solve my current issue.
Earlier today i was playing The division on Medium settings just fine and out of nowhere i get a Blue Screen of Death. The error was THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER.
I scoured on these forums looking for solutions and i found one that i thought would work so i tried it out. The Display Driver Uninstaller by Wagnard Mobile.
It didnt work. Im still getting the BSOD when i watch youtube or play a game.

My Graphics card is only about 14-15 months old and i am so broke i can not get it replaced.

My current specs are;
Sapphire Radeon R9 380 4GB GDDR5 Nitro w/Backplate
AMD FX 8320 CPU
16 GB RAM 2x8
Win 10
Gigabyte GA 78LMT-USB3 Revision 6.0
FSP Hyper 500W

Is there anything i can do to fix this Thread stuck in display driver BSOD? uninstalling all video drivers and reinstalling them has had no effect.

[Also please do not hijack my post for your own issues. Make your own post. Im looking for answers not more problems.]

No idea.

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff560350(v=vs.85).aspx

What we do know is that a driver issue could cause the crash and most often a video driver. However, as the link suggests, it is also possible the hardware itself is the problem.

Since you've already tried a clean driver install, the only thing I can think of is to install (probably) an older driver. The idea here is perhaps it's the specific driver you were using causing the issue and a different one may give you a different set of results. Also check to see if other drivers need an update just in case.

With respect to hardware, have you used any hardware monitoring software to check the temperatures of your components? HWMonitor, Speccy, AMD Overdrive and the likes? The idea here would be to at least rule out a particular sort of hardware problem, ie. overheating.

I may have found a solution.
What i did was do a System Restore and installed the latest Video driver. Radeon Crimson 16.11.4, I also reseated my Graphics card because i had a feeling that was partly the reason why I was getting these errors.
So far i havent had a Blue Screen, and iv been playing Rust for almost 10 hours straight.

Thanks for your help though.
