Ok so tomorrow is the big day the day i buy a new psu and gpu for my pc that i have but before that just to make sure that i don't regret it i would like to ask and make sure that the parts i get will work with the pc.
Here is the pc no new parts yet: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c03770775-8
And here is the gpu i plan to get: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487267&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
And lastly the new psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151094&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Anyway i hope no one sees any real issues but better safe then sorry right?

This is in my opinion, you can do this upgrade by all means but...to me it would be worth waiting and buying new pc parts and building it completely from scratch because at the moment you only have two slots of RAM (nullifies the fact you're getting a 1060 because most games that can run on a 1060 require at least 12GB RAM especially new games) and also your motherboard only has two RAM slots, you'll only find yourself buying a new motherboard and then thinking you'll need a new case anyway. Also your i3 3240 will be a bottleneck for your 1060.

This is my opinion on this anyway.

You may have read my other comments by now but i can't build a pc now in fact i most likely should not even really upgrade but i do plan to one day get more stuff to upgrade my pc that is why i am getting a 1060 i know it will bottleneck some games but i may sometime upgrade my MOBO and cpu be it in a few months to a few years.
But for now i would like to be able to play more games then just pre 2005 games.
You know how sad it is to not be able to play skyrim :(
