Ok, I have tried both a Geforce GTX 750 and a Radeon R7 240 in my budget PC build and am unable to get a signal to my monitor using HDMI...

Specs:

Q8200 Core 2 Quad
Intel DG43GT motherboard
8 GB Ram
Corsair 430 PSU

I have already verified both cards work properly through HDMI in another build I have. The fan on both cards spin up when I boot the Intel but I never get a signal. The documentation from Intel says there is an Auto detect setting in BIOS that I have confirmed that is set. I should be able to just plug it in and wire it up and go... I noticed there were other options in Video configuration of BIOS (Internal Graphics, External Graphics, External Graphics(with PEG - whatever that means). I tried all the External Graphics options anyway but no joy... The only thing I haven't tried is DVI (I game on an old Plasma screen with just VGA and HDMI). Maybe that will make a difference? Just thought I would throw this out in case someone can think of something I overlooked.. Thanks in advance for any replies..
