Hello guys and girls!
I bought a Pc in late 2014 with following specs:
-AMD Piledriver FX-6350, 6x 3.9GHz
-MSI 970 Gaming, AMD 970/SB950
-AMD Radeon R9 280X 3GB
-8GB DDR3-1600 (2x 4GB)
So i've got 3 questions. Question 1: Can i upgrade to an Asus ROG Strix GTX1070-8G
Question 2: I have got issues with the Battlefield franchise, i can play all bf games on Ultra Settings with decent FPS (bf3, 100+; bf4, 60-90; bf1, 60-80 on High), but i get game freezes every now and then (not just frame freeze but sound too). Where is the problem?
Question 3: Which spec would you upgrade first?

Admirable
I would upgrade the GPU for sure. That almost always gives the biggest boost in performance. It could possibly bottleneck with that CPU, which I would also upgrade. Skylake is fantastic. As far as battlefield skipping that is a problem I have not heard of before. Not with sound included.

Can you upgrade to that 1070? YES! Do I recommend it? NO! Why? You have a lower end CPU. Not really in line with the near god-like(Titan X is god) Strix 1070. In my opinion the 1060 would be a much better pairing that would still offer an incredible boost in performance. If the 1070 is on sale for really cheap then go for it. Just be aware that 6350 won't allow it to fully spread its wings when gaming. I'd bump up the CPU to the 8350 to maximize the performance of the 1070.

Have you ran MSI AfterBurner while you were gaming? You know about that 3.5GB RAM thing. That may be the issue. MAYBE.

I'd upgrade to the FX 8350 first unless there is a crazy sale on the 1070.

A friend of mine wants to buy a 1080 so he would sell me his brand new 1070 for 100€ less (about a quarter of the original price less). So i could buy that gpu and afterwards buy a new gpu. How about the ram, is that decent or good, i feel like the 1600 is a bit low :/

Yes. RAM is good if you don't do a lot of Auto-cad, video editing, rendering and the like. You are welcome to sell that RAM and boost it to 16GB (2 x 8 GB 1866MHz) for some longevity but I doubt you'll notice any improvement unless you are doing the aforementioned tasks.

Need to know your PSU. WIll it support the 1070?

Could BF1 be having issues with the HDD? Is the HDD holding up the show? Could an SSD(Samsung 850 Pro) make a difference? Maybe.

If you went as far as upgrading your motherboard then a new OS would be in order. OEM validations are tied to the motherboard. That would be a WHOLE other story and much more money.
