I have recently purchased an EVGA Geforce GTX 980 TI and it can hardly handle running any games. It can't run Dishonored 2 or Battlefield 1 along with some other titles even on the lowest settings. The frame rate often drops to under 30. I have an AMD Quad Core A8 7600 FM2+ Processor and 16 gigabytes of ram.
I have tried everything. I made sure that the monitor is plugged into the card and not the integrated graphics and all of the drivers are up to date. It often says in the "Geforce Experience" launcher that my system "doesn't meet the minimum requirements for optimal settings in this game." Although I feel like my card should be able to at least run these games on the lowest settings at least.
I have tried to test the card with MSI Afterburner and everything on the card seems to work fine, but it can't handle running games. If anyone has a solution or even something for me I would be very greatful.
